Option Category | # # CORE ARTWORK OPTIONS # |
Description | This is a new option and there is no "official" documentation for it. This option allows you to override a systems default artwork with another artwork file. This can be useful if you have some custom artwork that you want to use in specific circumstances but you don't want to delete the original artwork files. For instance, you might have a nice widescreen artwork file for a system that you only use when you run MAME on a TV or you might want to use artwork from a different system on the one that you are running. You could also use this command in custom ini files for screen types or specific drivers. There is a guide on making custom ini files on the Configuration Files page. |
